      *Market & Port Notes:*

    *Banana (DR Congo):* As of early 2026, the DP World deep-water port
    project is in active construction. While phase one is slated for
    2027 completion, current operations are primarily via the existing
    riverine pier (depth approx. 5.2m) or at anchorage. Discharge of
    floating pipes into the sea is a standard solution here to bypass
    pier draft limitations.

  *

    *Shanghai / Taicang (China):* High traffic is expected following the
    Lunar New Year period. Port operations are currently stable, but
    ensure all documentation for out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo is submitted
    72 hours in advance to avoid gate-in delays.

  *

    *Operational Note:* Discharge into sea water at Banana requires
    careful coordination with local tugs or small craft to secure the
    floating pipes. Ensure the vessel’s gear has a sufficient outreach
    to clear the hull safely during the "into-water" drop.

  *

    *Environmental Note:* The discharge area is near the Mangroves
    National Park; strict adherence to MARPOL and local anti-pollution
    regulations is required, especially regarding any debris from
    airbags or lashing materials.
